Surprise proposal at Domino Park in Brooklyn, NY

NYC Proposal Photography

A great proposal photo isn’t luck — I’m here to help you protect the secret with discreet planning. I scout the spot, watch the light, and stay ready and out of sight so you can focus on asking the question, and the moment feels real. Whether it’s sunrise in Central Park, under the Brooklyn Bridge, or in DUMBO with the skyline behind you, I’ll capture the lead-up, the reaction, and every real smile that follows.

why choose Jeremy Pineiro…

Alright!

I’ve been photographing NYC proposals for years, and I know that every second counts. I stay out of sight, plan every detail, and anticipate the right angles so you can focus on the question—not the camera. My approach is all about capturing real reactions, genuine emotion, and the story behind your proposal.

Whether it’s a private moment in Central Park, a dramatic skyline in DUMBO, or the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, I’ll make sure your proposal is photographed with precision, discretion, and style. My goal isn’t just to take pictures—it’s to create memories that feel as real and emotional as the moment itself.

FAQs

What else is included in my proposal photo package?

Every proposal package includes planning help, discreet coordination, and gentle posing guidance after the “yes.” You’ll receive a private online gallery with edited, print-ready images, a sneak-peek photo within 48 hours, and travel within NYC for my assistant and me at no extra cost.

How do you stay hidden during the proposal?

I arrive early, pick the right spot, and use a long lens so I can capture the moment without being seen. You won’t even notice I’m there—except in the photos afterward.

What locations do you recommend?

Popular spots include Central Park’s Bow Bridge, Bethesda Terrace, Conservatory Garden, DUMBO, Top of the Rock, Brooklyn Bridge Park, Queen’s Botanical Garden, and many more. I’ll help you choose a location that fits your style—romantic, private, or iconic.

How far in advance should I book?

Ideally, 2–4 weeks ahead, especially for weekends or sunset sessions. I do my best to accommodate last-minute plans when possible.

Do I get the .RAW images?

No, RAW files are digital negatives straight from the camera. They’re not intended for viewing or printing as they lack the color correction and artistic adjustments that define my work. Editing is a crucial part of the creative process, so I deliver only the high-resolution, edited images that reflect my professional quality and style.

What if the weather changes?

We’ll keep an eye on the forecast and adjust timing or location if needed. A little NYC rain can even make for some stunning, romantic shots.
